 Cooperations with Industrial Partners

In areas of research of the Max-Planck-Institut für Kohlenforschung with possible commercial applications, or where first results look promising and perhaps may have led to patent applications already, technology transfer in form of cooperations with industrial partners is welcome. 

The partners contribute know-how related to special applications and support the Institute’s research by financing part of the costs of further research projects. In exchange the partners are granted options to (exclusive or non-exclusive) licenses. Conditions of licensing are to be negotiated.
